On 12th-14th September, GCAP Europe representatives coming from all over the continent will be meeting in Rome for the 4th GCAP Europe Assembly at the Casa Internazionale Delle Donne.

After Lisbon in 2005, Athens and Berlin in 2006, the participants from Europe will kickstart the process leading to the design of a Strategic Framework for 2008/2010 which will be finalized by the end of the year by all the European coalitions.

The Strategic Framework will be made of 3 elements namely policy, campaigning and media.

The improvement of the ways of working within the region and the integration of GCAP Europe at the regional level will be also deeply discussed by the attendees.

Finally the GCAP Europe Assembly will be as well the perfect occasion for the participants to renew their IFT members.

20 coalitions among 31 will be attending the meeting.
